Who We Are?

Nordic Baking & Cooking distributes premium bakeryproducts with a Nordic twist in the Benelux market, with a focus on instore bakery and foodservice. We work together with reliable partners, like Panelux (Luxembourg), Fazer (Finland), Backshop (Germany) and Easyfood (Denmark). The productrange consists of sourdough breads and baguettes, Scandinavian soft pastries (cinnamon, blueberry, ...), Swedish soft bread, organic rye toast, and a range of German style breads like brötchen, pretzels and organic dark breads.

Kris Van Rattingen has founded this company in 2015, after more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience in frozen bakery, especially in Western-Europe and Scandinavia, in b-to-b retail and quick service restauration. His main competences are product innovation, bakery trends and category management.

Nordic bakery is a new trend since 2005, starting in Kopenhagen, with a focus on high quality dark sourdoughbreads, specialty pastries with cinnamon and fruits. This trend will  come into Benelux as the demand for premium bakery is steadily growing.
